Tintagel Castle

I've been desperate to visit Tintagel Castle for years and when I was in Cornwall at the beginning of the month it was the perfect opportunity to fulfill my dream! The ruined castle itself dates back to medieval times but legend has it that King Arthur was also born there.
The site is now managed by English Heritage and involves some spectacular views and also some very steep steps! I was so lucky that it was such a beautiful sunny day so the sky was clear and I was even able to spot a few seals swimming in the water by Merlin's cave. Scroll down to check out my pictures from the visit...

Thanks for reading :)

Have you been to Cornwall before?
