Braided Bun Hairstyle

I love to try out new hairstyles and whilst the majority are total fails, there are always a few that I really like and keep coming back to! Today I wanted to share how to do a braided bun hairstyle, something that is so easy to do with a little twist to make it look pretty. Read on to check out how to do it...

Step 1
Start with brushed straight hair, this look works best on second day hair but if freshly washed, spray in some texturising product so the hairstyle holds.

Step 2
Take a section of hair from the side of your head and braid, securing in place with a clear elastic. The braid doesn't have to be particularly perfect so pull out some pieces from the sides to widen and enhance it.

Step 3
Tie the remaining hair on the crown of your head in a topknot, securing in place with a hair tie.

Step 4
Wrap the remaining hair around the bun and secure in place with some hair grips.
Step 5
Wrap the braid around the bottom of the bun and pin into place. Spray with a little hairspray for some extra hold.

Thanks for reading :)

What's your favourite hairstyle at the moment?
