Successful Sleeping

Sleep is something we all need but many of us don't get enough of it! Whether it's work, worries or health-related, we all want to wake up feeling rested and ready for the day ahead. Today I've put together some of my tips for getting a good night's sleep...

I love the Dozy Girl tea from the Bluebird Tea Co, a blend of chamomile, lavender and rose, it will leave you feeling relaxed and ready for bed!

The Liquid Yoga bath soak from Mio not only smells incredible but eases muscles and restores your body with a blend of essential oils, mineral salts and herbs too. Just what you need after a long day!

Lighting a candle whilst you are getting ready for bed can fill your room with a great scent and get your mind in the bedtime zone. I love the Aromatherapy Associates Relax candle for this.

The This Works Pillow Spray always does the trick for me. It smells like a spa and I like to take it with me when I travel away from home as it's comforting and effective.

Lastly, if I really can't get to sleep then I put on the Relax Melodies app. You can choose from a variety of sounds but my favourites are Campfire or Rain. You can also set it to turn off in an hour so you don't have to have it on the whole night. It's incredibly soothing and works a treat!

Thanks for reading :)*

What are your tips for successful sleeping?

  1. I love meditating before I go to sleep, not always doing it though. There are some great videos on YouTube or I use the app Inside Timer. :)

  3. These are all such great tips, girlie! I definitely want to try out that app because Eddie and I would try listening to similar sounds on YouTube, but since they've made changes to the ads, it just randomly cuts to the ad and can easily get you out of that relaxed state. Thanks for suggesting this and I hope you're having a great day so far!

To the point that people make fun of me :( Listening to waves and rain, or cascades - water, in general, makes me sleep in a great mood and I also loved the This Works scent to feel like a spa, when travelling! I hope you sleep well, always! Hope you have a great day!
