Eye Makeup For Glasses Wearers

I've worn glasses for over ten years and although I wear contacts most days, it's great to have days off! I struggled wearing the right makeup when I had my glasses on as it's so easy for eyes to get lost behind them. Read on to check out what my favourite eye makeup products are to make your eyes stand out...

Makeup Revolution Palette
This palette is great for both subtle and bold looks. I use the lightest colour as a base and then work up from there. I also love the two darkest colours for the outer corners of my eyes as they can be blended in beautifully. Dip a liner brush in water for a more dramatic effect too.

Kiko Eyeshadow
I think that a dark green is perfect for drawing attention to the eyes. It isn't as harsh as black but still gives a lovely smokey effect. I use this subtly, over the base but underneath a brown so it doesn't look too much!

Kiko Eye Pencil
I use this eye pencil for the waterline. The shimmer and light colour makes eyes look bigger and more dramatic and the Kiko eye range is affordable, great quality and has an extensive range of colours.

Rimmel Eye Liner
These eye liner pots are really good if you don't like using pencils or pens. I think that you can get a much cleaner line from them and build up the drama which is great when you have glasses on. It also comes with a liner brush too so you don't have to go and buy one!

Too Faced Mascara
This is definitely a love or hate product. I absolutely love the effect it gives to the lashes but you have to be careful as it's really prone to smudging. To combat this, I use powder underneath the lash line and add a coat of clear mascara over the top to seal it. However, it's totally worth it for the lash length it gives.
