Center Parcs Woburn Forest

As regular visitors to Center Parcs, we were very excited when the Woburn village opened a few months ago. It's just a short drive from where we live and as that meant spending more time at Center Parcs and less time in the car, it was a no brainer!

The Lake

We went at the beginning of this month, and lucky for us the weather was great and as the schools had just gone back, there wasn't as many people as there usually are when we go.
We loved the feel of the new Center Parcs and even though some things are a little smaller like the outside pool and the lake, it really didn't make a difference to our stay. Places like the Plaza and the Village Square had been modernized and brought a really great feel to the forest.

Having fun at the Parc Market

We visited Hucks Diner, Cafe Rouge and the Sports Cafe and stocked up on some extra food at the much improved Parc Market. Our favorite was the marshmallow and chocolate kit which we toasted on the fire on our last night. Yum.

The Subtropical Swimming Paradise

As always, we spent a huge part of our time at the Subtropical Swimming Paradise. With the introduction of a wristband system instead of keys, things like lockers and even buying food were made easier as we didn't have to worry about coins or loosing our keys.

Feeling a bit tired after tennis!

Guess who lost?

We did all our usual activities, tennis, golf, swimming, canoeing, the family quiz and this year we visited the Aqua Sana, the Center Parcs on site spa. We spent an enjoyable morning on the Sunday wandering around the different rooms and relaxing. Our favourites were the Fire and Ice rooms, the Reflexology Footbaths and the Sensory Experience

Ready for the disco!

Making a call!

All in all, we had an absolutely amazing and action-packed long weekend and we can't wait for our next Center Parcs visit!
